Last spring I had the pleasure of shooting an elegant Glover Mansion wedding. I love working at this location and find that each season changes the look and feel of the grounds. The mansion is wrapped in different colors as the year progresses. The meticulously groomed summer greenery morphs into vibrant fall hues, the cold brings a white winter wonder land and spring has the soft light, and crisp new plants. I am thankful to have been apart of this couple’s new beginning as one.
This wedding fit the historical mansion setting perfectly. Christina’s dress and Ben’s Air Force uniform were timeless. The combination of flowing lace, diamonds, pearls, and soft red hair next to Ben’s proud blues creates such a dynamic image. The ceremony was classy and the couple glowed with love. The couple’s special day truly created the most elegant Glover Mansion wedding possible.
The red white and blue theme continued right on down to the after party, where Ben showed off his colors in a surprising and fun way! I loved seeing his formal jacket come off to expose those crazy party sleeves! This set the tone for laughter and fun for everyone in attendance.
I am extremely excited about the images I was able to get out of these two. They fit so well together and looked like they belonged in each others arms. Their happiness is so apparent in their eyes and natural smiles. I will never forget the love I could feel coming from them and all of their friends and family during the entire day of events. I know that when they look back at these pictures to reminisce on their 50th wedding anniversary they will still be each other’s best friend and forever love.
Thank you visiting my blog. I hope you enjoyed these elegant Glover Mansion wedding images as much as I enjoyed taking them!
