Spokane Wedding at the Bozarth Mansion

My relationship with this romantic couple began in early spring when I shot their engagement photo-session.  It was then that I saw the unmistakeable love and friendship between them leaving me anxious for their wedding on July 2nd at Bozarth Mansion in north Spokane.  When they told me Bozarth Mansion was their venue I knew that Bozarth was the perfect location for Kasi and Kellen.  From the beautifully lush property it sits on to the ornate detail on the building itself built in 1911, it suited them both perfectly.

When I photograph weddings, there is always a strong relationship that develops which involves a lot of trust and communication in a short amount of time and I ALWAYS feel so lucky to have the opportunity to play a part in the couples’ special day.  That being said, in working with Kasi I connected with her and her future husband, Kellen, in such a way that we formed a friendship, so being able to photograph her picture perfect day was going to mean even more.

If I had to describe this wedding in two words, they would be simply stunning.  Not only was this day special for obvious reasons, but Kasi and Kellen’s relationship is incredible.  The amount of excitement, love, and pure joy between the two of them is contagious and that feeling continued on their wedding day.  Those feelings were felt throughout the day between every person that was present for their wedding.  People were so excited that the two of them found each other and were going to begin their lives as husband and wife on that day.  It was beautiful to witness.

I really believe that I always have the best view of it all…being behind the camera because I get to see so much more than one might expect.  Being behind the camera, working with the couple, their family, close friends, and everyone in-between is one fabulous experience no matter what, but with this couple, it was one to remember, that is for sure!  From the breath-taking bride, the choreographed dance moves from the bridal party,  the special personal gifts from the bride and groom, the “I Spy” game found on the guest tables, to the home-brewed beer, the humorous yet meaningful speech by the bride’s brother, and to the intimate moments between these newlyweds, I was in awe so many times.  I was so happy to help them capture these memories last a life time.

There is nothing better than being a part of a wedding that is so special! It was so beautiful, energetic, and they are so much in love.  So I introduce to you Kellen and Kasi Rowe.  Congratulations to you both!
