I have known Jen since I was 12 years old so this maternity photo session is extra special for me. We began at their Spokane home for some intimate, but not-too-intimate bedroom photos. I love these settings because it shows our couple comfortable in their own home waiting for their new addition to join them. Once I was satisfied that we achieved the images I wanted, we headed over to a local park where we still had a bit of snow on the ground which always makes for a nice setting. My black and white photos are just mesmerizing me in this session! Of course it helps to have two gorgeous people who know how to at least appear comfortable and relaxed in front of a camera, but the sun came out just a bit which provided the contrast we needed! Cannot wait to meet our little guy!!!
Anytime a lady takes the time to have her makeup professionally done for a photo shoot (and has an awesome friend to do a spectacular application) is worthy of recognition. Alyssa Walsh with Gloss Makeup Artistry did a fantastic job with Jen’s makeup…as always, I highly recommend considering a professional makeup artist like Alyssa work with you for any professional photo session!
