The first thing I noticed as Amanda walked into my studio was her big vibrant smile, and as the day went on, I came to recognize it as a constant fixure on her face. This was one of the things I wanted to make sure to showcase in Amanda’s beautiful senior session. We started out in the the studio, coming up with a variety of fun photos that would show off her sweet personality as well as her excitement to be entering this phase in her life. We wanted to make sure we incorperated a variety of poses in case the rainy Spokane weather kept up its act and kept us indoors.  Amanda’s energy kept this shoot fun and light as we played around, which included venturing out of the studio and into surrounding areas in search of a change in indoor scenery. Lucky for us, Spokane decided to cooperate and by the time we felt satisfited with our studio photos, the sun had come out, bursting through those beautiful Spokane clouds.  Amanda would get her beautiful outdoors senior session afterall! The three of us (me, Amanda, and her sweet mother) hurried outside and found some awesome spots just outside my downtown Spokane studio. We started on the streets as we utilized the beautiful evening light and interesting downtown textures, creating angelic shots of Amanda. We then worked with the beautiful post-rain clouds and the gorgeaus sunset to create some dramatic urban shots.  We had a blast, and I loved getting to capture Amanda’s beautiful senior session!
