As our first month of the year is coming to an end, I am finding myself energized and motivated to crush my next cluster of goals!  Last year my focus was on creative lifestyle portraits, this year is my time to establish as one of the lead headshot photographers in the northwest. A sneak peak of what is coming to Crystal Madsen Photography can be found in these highlights from my trip to Los Angeles. If you know me, or follow my work, you know how important it is to me to propel myself forward and continue my growth.  I consistently challenge my comfort level to learn and push personal boundaries. This drive has made me the photographer that I am today. However, it also leads me to forget to celebrate what I have accomplished. 

With that being said, I would like to take a moment and honor the year of style. Ladies and gentlemen of the northwest, the year 2022 was all about you.

My goal with lifestyle portraits is to give energy to something that doesn’t move. The moment contact is made with a new client I tune in and start gathering research on what makes them who they are. I find that each person vibrates with a power like nobody else. I push to find the uniqueness in each client during my sessions and attempt to let each individual see what everyone else does daily. I do believe this goal was obtained!
