When I started this day, I knew it was going to be a powerful wedding, but wow talk about some amazing personalization to this wedding between Kate and David. I always enjoy being able to spend the entire day with the bride and this was no exception. Being apart of Kate’s morning as all of the ladies got ready showed me how strong the relationships and love was among all of them, making her personalized wedding so special.
Kate and David had their first look at the great little park on the bank of the river in Post Falls, Idaho. They made some fun memories as they saw each other for the first time on the swing set, which brought a light feeling to their day. It was a unique touch to their very romantic love that was felt by everyone. As we continued down the shoreline of Q’Emiln park we were able to capture some great detail shots that truly encompassed their personalized wedding day.
Now, some of the best aspects of the entire bridal party was their excitement to get some pretty spectacular photos, which we were able to get by climbing down steep rock climbing paths to a tucked away spot at the backside of the dam. The sun was peaking through the trees and over the hills to give us some dramatic lighting upon the rocks and bouncing off of the water. To add to these amazing moments that we were able to capture the decor was impressive with how much thought went into their very personalized wedding. From the unique glassware, the tree center pieces, the Alaskan salmon they caught themselves, and the family incorporation into the entire day, this was one of a kind. I can go on and on about these two and their amazing day, but I believe the best way to feel what we all felt is to enjoy these amazing photographs that we captured.
